A Message from Our Managing Director, Jeanette Birrell

For the past 21 years, Tshwane Place of Safety Association has been more than an organization to me—it has been my dream, my purpose, and my calling. I cannot imagine my life without the children who have touched my heart and shaped my journey. Each child who comes through our doors becomes part of our family, and we focus on quality care, not quantity. We see every child as one of our own.
This dream would not be possible without the support of our incredible team, our partners, and every person who believes in the work we do. Your support makes it possible for us to continue changing lives, offering safety, love, and hope to children who need it most.
Our vision for these children is big. We want to give each one the best chance to grow, to thrive, and to step into a future filled with opportunity. Every smile, every breakthrough, and every moment of healing reminds me why this calling is so important.
